Best Paints was formed in 1989 when the founder was hospitalized after using epoxy paint. As a reaction, the founder decided to make a paint that was superior to conventional paint and would not use harmful chemicals, or give off toxic gasses known as VOC's (volatile organic compounds). Volatile organic compounds are chemicals that are released during the drying process of paint, causing environmental and health hazards.
The best way to avoid harmful ingredients in paint is not to use them. So, Best Paint Co. Inc. screens all ingredients for toxicity. Best Paint was on the forefront in 1989 in creating Low-VOC paint, and eventually a Zero-VOC paint. Again Best Paint is on the forefront with its improved product by virtually eliminating Biocides, without compromising its hard ceramic like finish in its interior paint. We believe that Biocides (pesticides) along with VOC’s is one of the products that contribute to chemical injury. Chemical injury doesn’t occur over night. We believe that continuous exposure to a variety of chemicals or repeated exposure to a particular chemical can create a snowball effect and send you down the path of chemical sensitivity.
The goal of Best Paint from its inception was to create a safer paint/product which performs better than conventional paint. We have tested our paint against national brands for coverage, ease of application, and splatter. Our paint performs as well or better than top national brand paints.

BIOCICE AND FUNGICIDE ZERO VOC PAINT PRODUCTS
In our Exterior paints and primers we use a zero-VOC fungicide which will protect against fungus and algae, providing excellent protection against the growth of mildew as well. This product can also be added to our Interior paint for protection against mildew growth in bathrooms or other areas that are high in humidity.

Best Paint Co. Inc. can in no way, guarantee the suitability (sensitivity) of our products for any one individual or group of individuals. As with all products, each individual must determine whether Microsol paint is suitable for his or her own use. Best Paint Co. Inc. also makes interior/exterior paint with a very mild fungicide Duracryl. This product comes in two sheens Semi gloss and eggshell. Best Paint Co. Inc. will provide a free paint sample of any paint upon request.
